  I would not even give this place a star, nor would I send my dog there. I chose this facility, in which was not my 1st choice, however the flood had caused many people to have to relocate from other nursing homes. I was forewarned that the place was old and ran down, like one of those old roadside hotels with paint rubbed off the wall from wheel chairs. The reason I left early was because on three occassions I was not given my medicine. One night I was only given one of my two pills. That next morning I askes for my pain medicine and was confused why I was given the capsules instead of my round pills. The next morning I asked for my pain pills and the nurse said she could offer me my oxycodine instead of my tramadol. I demanded that I would have my tramadol. The nurse said she couldn't because they were checked out at 6:00 A.M. I was asleep at 6 am!!! I went to bed with terrible muscle spasms and at 1:32 the nurse came in and offered me pills in which were due at 12. I was told that this facility has a history of this. A nurse was caught stealing pills and she ended up killing herself. There are many lazy cnas and patients are just a paycheck and a bonus for the social worker for all new clients coming in. The nurses ignore patients that have to have meds at certain times. I never got mine on time and it was delayed for over a half hour to an hour. The place smells like pee and poop at times. My roommate laid in a wet diaper for 8 hours. She had bed sores from just laying in a dirty diaper.
  I was suppose to be on a protein and calcium diet as recommend by my doctor. My meals were the same slop as everyone else's. Their deli sandwhiches are two slices of bologna and a piece of American cheese. I was to have protein shakes in which I had to furnish my own ensure. I was told a high protine diet consists of two helpings of the main entree which didn't happen. My cottage cheese was frozen. They only bathe their residents 2 times per week. They told me that they'd not like that if they were in my shoes so they said they'd work with me. When I asked if I could shower on 3rd shift a 2nd shift cna told me no because they bathe up to 16 a day per shift. I knew most clients were asleep by or bwfore 10 pm, so I inquired and third shift said i was lied to about that.
  I would highly not advise this place for rehab or a nursing home. I was going to be there for rehab for two weeks, but I sat for four days with no therapy.
  Dont send your loved ones there and look for another place for rehab.
  All I wanted was rehab, help going to the bathrrom, shower, 3 meals that met the standards for my diet, pain management, and to be treated humain. This was far from my week of hell.
